VEXTEC Presenting at the Aircraft Structural Integrity Program Conference

ASIP_Logo_wDATES_1AVEXTEC® will be presenting at the Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) 32nd Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas on November 29th, 2016.  The presentation entitled, “Improved Life Cycle Management Tools for Prediction of Corrosion Damage of Airborne Systems” will be given by Michael Oja and will discuss how VEXTEC is developing a model that will address prediction of remaining useful life of structures suffering from corrosion fatigue and stress corrosion cracking.  The ASIP Conference covers state-of-the-art technologies for aircraft structures in both military and civilian fleets and VEXTEC is pleased to be a part of this important event.

VEXTEC Sponsoring the Simulia Great Lakes Regional User Meeting

VEXTEC is excited to be a sponsor at a Simulia Regional User Meeting (RUM) for the second year in a row. This year we will be at both the fe-safe User Group Meeting on October 19th and the Simulia Great Lakes Regional Meeting in Michigan on October 20th highlighting our VPS-MICRO® software.  This meeting brings together users to share their knowledge and experience in advancing methods and technology for finite element analysis, multi-physics, process automation, design optimization and simulation management. Attending from VEXTEC and giving live software demonstrations will be Dr. Sanjeev Kulkarni, Vice President- Sales & Business Development and Mr. Michael Oja, Sales & Project Manager.

VEXTEC Presenting at Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals Conference

SMRPVEXTEC® will be presenting a paper at the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) 24th Annual Conference in Jacksonville, FL on October 18th.  The paper, entitled “Reliability Improvement with Physics-Based Failure Analytics”, will be presented by Jim Carter and Paul Holland. The paper provides insights into VEXTEC’s Virtual Life Management® (VLM®) technology,  presents case studies of actual VLM applications.

The Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) was formed in 1992 to advance the maintenance, reliability and physical asset management industry and promote leaders in the field.  SMRP’s Conference continues to be the premier maintenance and reliability event bring together the knowledge and experience of professionals, technicians, educators and executives from around the world.

VEXTEC Presenting at Trelleborg’s 2016 Global FEA Meeting

August, 2016 – Dr. Sanjeev Kulkarni (VP, Sales & Business Development) and Dr. Robert Tryon (CTO) from VEXTEC Corporation will be presenting at the 2016 Global Finite Element Analysis (FEA) meeting for Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS) to be held in Boston, MA on September 15. The presentation will discuss the “Implementation of ‘Integrated Computational Materials Engineering’ or ‘ICME’ towards Managing the Fatigue Life of Components and Assemblies”.

ICME combines computational modeling and materials engineering, and considers materials at multiple length scales, processes that produce these materials and the properties to predict and optimize the performance of components. VEXTEC characterizes materials at the microstructural level and uses its Virtual Life Management®  (VLM®) technology to understand material damage, flaw initiation and crack propagation towards estimating fatigue life in components and assemblies subject thermal / mechanical cyclic loads. The talk will discuss VLM in the context of industry recognized structural design philosophies: Safe Life and Damage Tolerance.

VEXTEC Presenting at International Conference on Fatigue Damage of Structural Materials XI

August 30, 2016 -Dr. Robert Tryon, CTO of VEXTEC, will be presenting at the eleventh biennial International Conference on Fatigue Damage of Structural Materials which will be held in Hyannis, Massachusetts beginning September 18th through the 23rd. This conference will bring together delegates from around the world to discuss how to characterize, predict, and analyze the fatigue damage of structural materials. Dr. Tryon’s presentation titled, “Microscale Computational Fatigue Modeling of Structures with Surface Corrosion” will be given, Tuesday, September 20th at 11:10 a.m.
